Rimsky-Korsakov spent his life composing operas and symphonies. Most of his works are themed on history, literature and folklore. His works are mostly both titled and narrative. The emergence and development of prograromatic music has an important and far-reaching influence on the artistic creation of music in the 19 th and 20 th centuries. It greatly promotes the development of music art content and form, thus making music more three-dimensional.In the interpretation of such works, the rich music expressiveness, various expression techniques and huge music performance range provide the conductor and the band with more choices in presentation mode.Scheherazade,a symphonic suite by Rimsky-Korsakov,is one of the representative works of Russian prograromatic symphony. This work presents a unique effect in music(harmony, tonality, texture, orchestration and depiction of music contents). This paper first analyzes the work and explores its characteristics in terms of materials and structure. Then it analyzes the command techniques in the work from the perspective of command. It is hoped that this paper can provide guidance and reference for future analysis and rehearsal of this work or similar works.
