In feudal society,the official system is an important national management system.The offician position in different dynasties and different periods is numerous,and the verbs used to represent granting offician position are very common in ancient books.However,the research on this kind of verbs has been mostly focused on the simple explanation and examples of the meaning of the word,or the limited research based on a monograph.There are not enough research results on how they can be used as a verbs to represent granting offician position,what are the differences between the verbs,and what are the characteristics of the verbs in use,and so on.This research mainly focus on the verbs used to represent granting offician position,using the methods literature research,statistics,qualitative analysis,comparative analysis like,and the tools such as dictionaries to study systematically.Finally,through the combination of institutional background,the process from the original meaning to the meaning of authorization is obtained,the combinational relationship of the verb in the use is summarized,the differences among the same kinds of verbs are compared and showed by the tables.All verbs in this paper are divided into four categories according to semantics,which can help the researchers to take it as a reference more conveniently,and enrich the content of other official special books or dictionary lexicon in the verbs to represent granting offician position.The full text is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,including the study reasons,study status,study significance,study methods and the definition of the object of study.The second part,the author chooses three verbs,such as "xuan","dian" and "jian",and makes a comparison between the three words.The third part,the author chooses three verbs,"bi","zheng","zheng" and "qijia",to study them,and there is a contrast between the three words in another section.The fourth part,the author chooses four verbs of "shang","ci","shou" and "ming" to carry on the research,and there is a contrast between the three words in another section.The fifth part includes four verbs: "bai","zeng","zhui" and "feng",which cannot be classified into the above three categories.
