| This thesis focus on the study of"X daoshi X",which is a unique type of homology.Because of the existence of"dao",its semantic meaning is close to that of"X shi X",which can be summarized as"not completely agree".Usually,it can not be used alone,but used as sentence components or sentence clauses of Transitional sentence.Relatively speaking,the part of"X"is more limited,it mostly act as noun,adjective,verb,and the phrase is little.As X2 often combinate with adverbials and complements,X1 and X2 are inconsistent.Therefore,the homology of"X daoshi X"can be divided into two type:"X1 daoshi X2"same class,indicating that the imcomplete agreement for defense/confirmation;"X1 daoshi X2+"extended class,indicating that the imcomplete agreement for evaluation and explanation.In the same form,the semantics of X1 and X2 are also different.When X is the nominal,X1 simply denotes reference,while X2represents rational meaning.When X is a predicate component,table X1 refers to the reference meaning and table X2 represents the statement meaning.In discourse communication,"X daoshi X"follows the politeness principle and the optimal relevance principle,which is a positive pragmatic strategy.Although it is not important part in sentence meaning,it can predict the emergence of new information.For the follow-up which are differ from listener’s expection,it can help to reduce the psychological gap.A few"X daoshi X"in the dialogue partly have the characteristics of discourse markers,although the degree of solidification is not high,which can be regarded as"quasi-discourse markers". |
