“Zhen” accumulates the rich connotation of Chinese traditional culture.From the perspective of aesthetic history,“Zhen” is closely related to “beauty”.“Zhen”,as the category of aesthetics,it is not only an art style but also ontology.It occupies a very important position in the classical Chinese aesthetic category system.However,the academic research on the “Zhen” of the aesthetic category is not rich enough,and the discussion still needs further study.In view of this,this article takes the “Zhen” Chinese character as the starting point of research,and starts from the aspects of ideological origin,historical process,connotation analysis,value recognition,systematically examining the “Zhen” of Chinese classical aesthetics.The first chapter starts from the original meaning of the Chinese character “Zhen”,and traces the philosophical meaning of the “Zhen” concept of the pre-Qin through the“Zhen” of Taoism and the “Sincere” and “Qing” of Confucianism.The pre-Qin “Zhen”concept is based on the Confucianism and Taoism,and has multiple meanings such as the “Zhen” of the ontology,the “Zhen” of the nature,the “Zhen” of the understanding,and the “Zhen” of the aesthetic.The second chapter combs the formation and development of the “Zhen” category of aesthetics.The Han dynasty is the philosophical continuation of the category "Zhen" and the aesthetic gestation period.Huainanzi aims to be close to Taoism,incorporating the ideas of many schools,and continuing the “Zhen” of the Taoist natural ontology;Wang Chong's “Take truth as beauty” criticizes the illusion of the sacred theology.In the words of literature and art,strongly urge it to be Zhen and useful.Wei and Jin Dynasties are the aesthetic breakthrough period of the “Zhen” category.They are no longer bound by moral and practical concepts,emphasizing the beauty of nature and the beauty of the subject.Tang and Song Dynasties are the development period of the “Zhen” category.They mainly discuss their Zhen and beautiful from the perspective of poetry and painting.From the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the modern time,it is a summary period of the “Zhen” category.It mainly discusses the Zhen feelings of the Ming and QingDynasties with the “Qing” at the center,and the “Zhen” of the scenes in the traditional poetics.Wang guowei's “Zhen” associated with the value system of philosophy and aesthetics.The third chapter is the analysis of the connotation of the category of “Zhen”.Taking the “Truth,goodness and beauty” relationship and the “Zhen” difference between China and the West as the starting point,we finally combed the three meanings of the Zhen: innocent,Not fake and natural.The fourth chapter discusses the dual attributes and practical significance of the“Zhen” category.The “Zhen” of Chinese classical aesthetics is both a constructive category and an appreciative category.Aesthetic appreciation focuses on the aesthetic characteristics,aesthetic value and style of “Zhen”.The constructiveness is historical construction and corresponding artistic concept,the pursuit of ultimate value,which is important for aesthetics and real life.
