| Jean-Francois Millet is a representative painter of French realism in the nineteenth century. He has lived in the countryside of Barbizon for twenty-seven years. He created a large number of excellent works with the theme of peasant’s daily work and idyllic scenery, simple and touching pen and simple color, which truly expressed the deep feelings of peasants, and embodied Miller’s concern and noble praise for the peasants,as well as his pursuit of pure artistic interest.Millet’s persistent exploration of the same theme and simple painting style deeply influenced me.In the choice of graduation theme,I still continued the Tibetan theme during the mid-term exhibition, and learned from Miller’s painting language in composition and color,in order to present the simple and touching picture effect in my creation. In this creative practice,I realized the importance of learning from and drawing lessons from the masters and emotional expression in the picture. |
