The research is based on the basic concept of “design for people”,pays special attention to interdisciplinary research in neurocognitive science,communication,aesthetics,literature,etc.,focuses on the cutting-edge ideas and practical development of new media and interaction design.Using the preliminary investigation and the late taste design experiments,the research closely integrates synaesthesia research and design practice,deeply explores the sensory and logical connection between taste and vision,and also explores the space and possibility of taste and sense in visual creative expression.To reach such a goal,the research relies on the existing interdisciplinary theory and results of synaesthesia,develops the visual translation principle and metaphorical expression method of taste communication in visual communication design,based on relevant research and experimental data.Using intuitive experience,indirect association and cultural concepts,the creative idea of the theme taste synaesthesia graphics is formed.Starting from the sensory emotions and concept consciousness,the exploration experiment with the food appearance,character expressions and symbolic symbols close to the general experience is conducted to demonstrate the unique artistic expression and appeal of taste,and its creative language form and performance strategy which is indispensable for visual design practice,and its broad application prospects.
