| Synesthesia, an inborn psychological phenomenon, is an end result of communications and conversions between various sensations. It does not only affects people’s daily life, but also helps to study the methods to shorten the gap between the music and the world it represents. This thesis illustrates the Synesthesia effects caused by "audiovisual translation" and "eyes&ears intercommunication", as well as demonstrates the uses of Synesthesia from perspectives of performing emotions and skills in vocal music by systemically studying the Synesthesia phenomenon and its functions in the field of vocal music specifically. The theoretical outputs will not only to provide guidelines to vocal music learners on their performance methods, to improve the practicability of vocal teaching, but more importantly, to enable the vocal music performers to express their emotions more efficiently. |
