Research On Narrative Strategies Of Domestic Suspense Network Dramas

With the continuous development of the Internet,suspense network drama came into being,which began to enter people's line of sight.Domestic suspense network drama with its unique narrative skills and narrative style,in the colorful many types of network drama unique.In recent years,suspense network dramas have performed excellently in terms of quantity,quality,market performance and audience reputation.At the same time,their uniqueness and bold exploration of narration are particularly eye-catching,attracting the attention of audience,industry and researchers.This paper takes the whole suspense network drama as the research object,analyzes what strategies are used in its narration and what narrative effects are achieved.The article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background and overview.It sorts out the current research status of China's suspense network drama,and understands the academic community's research direction and scope.Chapter two summarizes the narrative features of suspense network dramas as a whole: interlocking suspense setting,complex and changeable character building,and diversified and extensive content construction.The third,fourth and fifth chapters are the key parts of this paper,which respectively analyze the narrative strategies of suspense network dramas from the perspective of narrative,narrative space and time,and narrative structure.The research finds that the narrative perspective of suspense network dramas is manifested in multiple perspectives,specifically zero focus on humanity,inner focus on creating suspense,and outer focus on hiding mystery.In terms of narrative time,flashbacks,fast and compact narrative time intervals,and the narrative frequency with single narrative as the main part and repeated narrative as the auxiliary part are mostly adopted.Narrative space tends to show the real space of realism,rich and diverse psychological space.In terms of narrative structure,most of them adopt non-linear narrative structure,including multiple cues narration,many layers narration and mass narration,in order to disrupt the time dimension of reality and meet the aesthetic needs of the audience.Based on the theories of narrative and film narrative,this paper constructs the narrative strategy research of suspense network drama.Through literature analysis,text analysis and other researchmethods,this paper analyzes a large number of existing suspense network plays and high-quality hot style,analyzes their success from the perspective of narration,and theoretically pays attention to and summarizes their success,so as to provide theoretical guidance for the practice of such network plays in the future.
