There are a large number of corresponding words between Chinese and English,but due to the nationality of language,there is a complex correspondence between Chinese and English counterparts,including the phenomenon that multiple Chinese words correspond to one English word.Verbs are a large class in Chinese and English languages,and they are usually an essential core component in a sentence.This paper selects the verbs in the Grade A of Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Characters Grading as the research object,and the verbs of Chinese and English.Investigate a phenomenon and explore its influence on the learning of Chinese verbs by native English learners.This paper mainly includes five parts:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the origin of the research,the research significance,the research methods and the source of the corpus.The second part selects the verbs in the Grade A of the Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Characters Outline.English corresponding words,analyze and examine the phenomenon of Chinese-English verbs,mainly analyze the differences between Chinese and English verbs and the differences between Chinese verbs in the same group.The third part analyzes the adverse effect of the phenomenon of multiple pairs of Chinese and English verbs on the Chinese learning of native English speakers.It is easy to form the inducing factors of learner verb bias,including textbook factors and teacher factors.At the same time,it is also easy to cause negative transfer of learners' mother tongue.The fourth part puts forward some countermeasures for the adverse effect of the phenomenon of multiple pairs of Chinese and English verbs on the Chinese learning of native English learners.In terms of teachers,teachers should strive to improve their professional quality and strengthen teaching skills;In terms of students,they should have a correct attitude,rely on their mother tongue as little as possible,and practice more to consolidate their learning results.The last part is the conclusion,summarizing the research results of this paper,and pointing out the innovation and inadequacies of the thesis.
