Study On The Regional Representation Of Square Dance In Jiangsu Province

Square dance keeps pace with the times,and the deep integration with local traditional culture is the main trend of Square dance development at this stage.In view of Jiangsu,the Provincial Sports General Administration and the Provincial Square Fitness Dance Association have integrated Jiangsu's regional culture into square dance,organized a series of competitions and exhibitions,and strived to build the brand of "Jiangsu Square Dance".Jiangsu is located in the eastern part of China.It is a big province of economy and culture.As the carrier of Jiangsu culture,square dance is developing in full swing in Jiangsu Province.This topic takes the regional characteristics of Jiangsu regional square dance as the object of investigation.After reading a lot of relevant literature and referring to expert opinions,a questionnaire on the regional characteristics of Jiangsu square dance was designed.In the 6th Jiangsu Plaza Dance Exchange Competition in 2018,40 questionnaires were distributed on the spot.After factor analysis of the results,the regional characteristics of Jiangsu Plaza Dance were established.Based on this,the leaders of 17 Jiangsu Plaza Dance Teams were interviewed.The conclusions are as follows: 1.The regionality of Jiangsu square dance can be represented by square dance movements,props and costumes,dance music,participants,organization and management.2.The dancing movements of the Southern Jiangsu Square are characterized by "tremor" as the method,"song" as the state,"inclination" as the momentum,and "circle" as the line.Central Jiangsu pursues a smooth line of movement and a "broken","steady" and "fast" pace.Northern Jiangsu is characterized by emphasizing lower limb movements and large-scale long-line movements.3.The design and use of square dance props are extremely exquisite.The prop design takes the ecological environment,product resources,handicraft and folk culture of Jiangsu as the prototype.The choice of the main color of clothing has two characteristics: green-like and rosy-red.4.Plaza dance music is mainly original music,which reflects regional characteristics by singing lyrics and blending into Huaihai Opera,Five Palace Tunes and Pingtan and other local folk tunes.5.Participants are more professional,showing a trend of youth.6.Regional square dance activities have a high rate of development,mainly with urban theme,traditional elements and thousand people square dance activities.In the activity management,the activity venues are managed by dividing dance areas,and the activity music is managed by uniform distribution equipment.Suggestions are as follows: 1.In-depth study of regional square dance,we can start with five elements: square dance movements,props and costumes,square dance music,crowd characteristics,organization and management.2.Enriching the content of square dance in Jiangsu Province,incorporating more regional traditional elements into it,and better creating the unique brand of square dance in Jiangsu Province.3.Strengthen the ability of relevant departments to regulate square dancing,carry out regional theme square dancing competitions extensively,and implement management methods that are suitable for the actual situation of the region,so as to promote the sustainable development of Jiangsu square dancing with more characteristics.
