The Northern Dynasties Epitaph Official Name Index

Stone inscription literatures as the first-hand historical data in the practical application of historical research and handed down historical literature has its advantages.There are many epitaphs in the northern dynasty,and they are widely used in the study of officials in the northern dynasty.However,in order to make full use of these epitaph materials,there is still a lack of an effective tool in China,that is,a compilation index of epitaph documents of the northern dynasty.However,in order to make full use of these epitaphs easily,there is still a lack of an effective tool in China,that is,the official name index of a Northern Dynasty epitaph document.This paper collects a total of 1348 ancient and new epitaphs before the Sui Dynasty.On this basis,a new index of official titles of Northern Dynasty epitaphs is made.In addition,an introduction is attached to provide an overview of the application of epitaph documents in the field of official research in the Northern Dynasty in the past 20 years and an analysis of the unique advantages and disadvantages of epitaph documents for official research institutes.It includes three kinds of application forms of epitaph documents in the study of officials in the Northern Dynasty,specific official studies that benefit from epitaph documents,and the influence of the characteristics of epitaph documents on official studies.In a word,it is a problem that predecessors have not yet been able to summarize and discuss.Hoping to do my best to help the epitaph research and official research.
