In the era of new media,people's daily life is becoming more and more convenient,but the paper industry is facing severe challenges,especially fashion magazines.Fashion magazines are not only the carriers of information,but also the reflection of people's ideas on life philosophy,which would have an influence on people's behaviors eventually.The value of magazine far more than just communicating or information-spreading.The outline of China's 13 th five-year plan clearly states,in the aspects of culture,it is necessary to enrich cultural products and services,prosperity and development of socialist literature and art is the main direction of cultural industry development in the next five years.As one of the branches of cultural products,Chinese fashion magazines plays an important role in promoting the prosperity of China's cultural products and service industry.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the visual design of Chinese fashion magazines in the new media era.The paper is based on visual design,and combined with related resources,in the effort to analyzing and studying the visual design of Chinese fashion magazines in the new media era.First of all,this paper studied the current situation of Chinese fashion magazines in the new media era with the combination of Chinese fashion magazines characteristics,it analyzed and summarized the characteristics and functions of fashion magazines in China.Secondly,the forming elements and constituent elements of visual design of Chinese fashion magazines are studied and discussed.Finally,through the analysis of successful cases,the status quo and visual design of Chinese fashion magazines in the new media era are summarized and analyzed to provide new ideas for the development of Chinese fashion magazines.
