With the continuous enrichment of archaeological materials in the Neolithic Age in Northeast China and the establishment of a spatio-temporal framework for archaeological culture, more and more people are paying attention to this area with unique natural geographical division and rich archaeological data.At present, there are a lot of case studies in the region,so I hope that I can rely on the support of high and new technology to study the relationship between ancient people and land in the northeast region with a wide range and across time and space. This attempt provided us with a more direct and clear picture of the trending changes in the selection of early human sites. This paper uses geographic information system(GIS)technology as a means to establish an archaeological geographic information system database of Neolithic sites in Northeast China, and through digital terrain analysis, spatial overlay analysis, buffer analysis and spatial morphology analysis.Quantitative analysis of the spatial distribution of archaeological culture sites in the early, middle and late stages of the area,to explore the tendency of site selection and distribution, and to select the the Xinkailiu Culture of the Wusuli River Basin and Middle-level Culture of Xiaozhushan in southeastern Liaoning and the Ang'angxi Culture in the Nenjiang River Basin attempt to explain the connection between the livelihood models of the three archaeological cultures and the environment. The results of statistical analysis show that the spatial distribution of the Neolithic sites in the Northeast has a distinct tendency in the geographical environment. The ancient ancestors had a close relationship with the natural conditions and living environment.According to the statistical analysis of the spatial distribution of the sites, the Xinkailiu Culture in the early Neolithic Age in Northeast China was discussed and verified that it was mainly based on fishing, and it also engaged in hunting. The Middle-level Culture of Xiaozhushan was based on a mixed economic form combining fishing, hunting and agriculture;the late Ang'angxi Culture had an economic model dominated by fishing and hunting economy.
