German music educator Karl Orff,on the basis of inheriting Dahlcrotz’s music thought and aiming at children’s actual needs, put forward a teaching method suitable for their age stage. He pointed out that students’ body, language and music should be combined together, and students’ subjective initiative should be brought into full play through voice training,so that students can have a deeper level of music.Understanding, then in sports dance teaching,if the introduction of voice training will make students’ sense of rhythm, coordination ability can be significantly improved.Voice teaching method is one of the training methods in Orff’s music teaching method. It integrates language, movement, rhythm, performance and singing. It uses simple ways of twisting fingers, clapping hands, clapping legs and stamping feet to make rhythmic sounds.By rearranging and combining the four basic forms, different kinds of rhythmic combinations can be obtained. This paper mainly applies Orff’s voice training to the teaching of children’s chacha-cha-cha rhythm.Through the methods of literature, investigation and experiment, the students are randomly divided into two groups: the experimental class and the control class. Before the experiment, the basic information of the students is compared, such as height, weight, physical fitness, the right time to learn, whether they have learned the basic knowledge of music, etc.Whether the students meet the experimental requirements. The teaching content is a combination of Cha Cha Cha Cha Cha basic steps and Cha Cha Cha Cha bronze medal. The teaching experiment lasts for16 weeks. The traditional teaching method is used in the control class to teach rhythm. The experimental class is joined in the voice training of Orff music teaching method to teach rhythm. After the experiment, the rhythm of music is measured and compared between the experimental class and the control class. The differences in the treatment of playing and the understanding of dancing.Especially in the experimental class, students’ reaction speed to music, the degree of integration of dance movements and music rhythm,as well as their interest in learning Latin dance and learning attitude have been significantly improved.
