Chinese national instrumental music has a long history,and the form of blowing,pulling,playing and beating is an important part of Chinese national music.As for the ensemble of national instrumental music,there are many folk forms,which have extensive music practice in various activities and masters.In the process of the times,it should be Peng Xiuwen who has carried forward and made outstanding contributions to the national instrumental ensemble in the creation of works,the orchestration of bands and the reform of musical instruments.It should be said that Mr.Peng has opened a new chapter in Chinese national instrumental ensemble,is an innovator of Chinese national instrumental ensemble in the 20 th century,is a reformer of national instrumental music,and is the founder of today’s creation and practice of national instrumental music.Peng Xiuwen’s music works organically integrate "nationality" and "symphonic" into a whole,fully reflecting his outstanding musical talent and persistent pursuit of national music.His field of creation involves folk customs,festive atmosphere,characters,events,scenery,emotional expression and thinking,etc.In the professional circle,Mr.Peng’s contribution has a broad consensus and the "Peng Xiuwen Model" was put forward,which is a high recognition of Peng Xiuwen’s contribution to the creation and development of modern Chinese national orchestral music.Referring to the construction method of western orchestral music,Peng Xiuwen used the principles and techniques of harmony,polyphony,orchestration and instrument making,combined with the characteristics of traditional Chinese national musical instruments,starting from the actual needs of the structure of orchestral sound sources,and through the improvement of musical instruments,established a Chinese-style orchestral music.The research of this article was carried out from the following aspects: The national characteristics and style of Peng Xiuwen’s orchestral composition;the evolution of style formation and development;and comparison of orchestral works in three different periods,etc.The following research methods were mainly adopted: First,analytical induction.It analyzed and studied the national orchestral music created by Peng Xiuwen in different periods,as well as relevant recorded documents,audio-visual materials and spectral examples,to collect and sort out its artistic style characteristics,and to provide theoretical basis for the research of this topic.The second is the comparative research method.It made an in-depth analysis and comparison of the representative works written by Peng Xiuwen in three different creation periods,to fully understand the characteristics of the creation of Peng Xiuwen’s national orchestral music in each period.The third is the summary method.Through the comparative analysis of the representative works in the three different periods,it comprehensively summarized their unique creative styles in the three different periods and provided data support for the research of this topic.Through the research of this topic,the research results enable more people to know and understand the “Peng Xiuwen Mode”,to know the status and development of national orchestral music works under the “Peng Xiuwen Mode”,and to evaluate and examine the status and development of national instrumental music culture from different angles.In the demonstration method,the principle of combination of structural analysis,induction of musical instrument method and spectrum demonstration is applied,striving to achieve breakthroughs and innovations in the perspective of connotation and extension,and also striving to provide a new path for the development and creation of China’s national orchestral music. |
