With the continuous development of Information technology,micro lecture has become a new teaching mode,which has attracted more and more people's attention.Now,more and more primary and secondary schools are using micro lecture in teaching.The purpose of the paper is to explore the specific results in English vocabulary teaching by using micro lecture in junior high school.Because there are some problems in vocabulary teaching,such as,single teaching method and lack of lexical repetition.Therefore,This study aims to make an exploration into the effect of the micro lecture vocabulary teaching and the students' attitude towards the micro lecture vocabulary teaching in junior high school by combining English teaching with micro lecture.This paper mainly analyzes the following two questions:First,can micro lecture promote students to learn English vocabulary in junior high school?Second,what is the students' attitude towards micro lecture vocabulary teaching?In this research,108 students from two parallel classes in Grade 8 of Yilong Hongde High School,Sichuan Province,were divided into two classes: experimental class and control class.The students of the two classes were very close to each other in the aspect of learning achievement and learning consciousness.The experiment started in September 2017 and ended in January 2018.It lasted for a whole semester.During the experiment,the experimental class carried on the vocabulary teaching with the help of the micro lecture,the control class still adopted the traditional vocabulary teaching mode.The researcher mainly adopts the quantitative research method and the qualitative research method.Questionnaire method,interview method and experimental method are used in the paper.The main results of this study are as follows: After applying micro lecture to English vocabulary teaching,the students' vocabulary performance in the experimental class is higher than that in the control class.The students' attitude and interest in vocabulary learning in the experimental class are obviously better than those in the control class.Moreover,micro lecture can help students to better memorize vocabulary and master vocabulary more skillfully.At the same time,the interviewees affirmed the method of vocabulary teaching with micro lecture and hoped that they could continue to use micro lecture in vocabulary teaching in the future.All in all,through this study,it is found that the micro lecture vocabulary teaching method is more effective than the traditional way in the aspect of students' scores.Besides,it can improve students' attitude towards English vocabulary learning,make students be more interested in English vocabulary learning and promote the use of vocabulary memory strategies.
