The prescribed situation is the plot,facts,events,times,time,place and living conditions of the script.It is the internal and external environment that the characters live in,the opportunity for the outbreak and development of conflicts,and the foundation of the plot.The prescribed situation plays an important role in actors’ role creation.This paper attempts to analyze the influence of the prescribed situation on the shaping of the role of Chen ailin in jia zi yuan,and to discuss the specific application of the prescribed situation on the characterization and the deepening of the prescribed situation--the background,so as to achieve the close connection between the actor and the role and create a vivid character image.
