The flower-and-bird painting with the theme of yunnan tropical rain forest came into being in the middle and late 1970 s,and then developed rapidly.At that time,the older generation of painters represented by wang jinyuan first entered the xishuangbanna rainforest to sketch,and then had a large number of followers,making flower and bird paintings based on this theme.Yunnan tropical rain forest flower and bird painting this topic also arises at the historic moment it is the new period fine arts worker to the contemporary flower and bird painting innovation to make a prominent contribution.Through a large number of literature and books to read,I have a new understanding of the creation of the tropical rain forests in yunnan flower and-bird painting,yunnan tropical rain forest birds and flowers as the main subject matter of the painter is also a big group,especially in xishuangbanna sketch,all the year round to resemblance flowers plant material for the creation of a painting is leading the mainstream direction of contemporary Chinese paintings,tropical rain forests peculiar light color throughout the flower-bird painting creation,it shown "numerous" "light" "shadow" and "secret" mysterious color but also injected new expression for the creation of Chinese paintings and the connotation.It is inseparable from its unique regional characteristics and cultural background.With wang jinyuan and lang sen as prominent representatives,his school advocates starting with a large amount of sketching and combining with unique regional characteristics as the creation scheme,and then forming a panoramic style of flower and bird painting.Later,local painters Yang weimin,guo wei,man jianghong,Chen yiyuan and he equal developed their creation methods,enriched the creation style of flower-and-bird painting,and pushed yunnan tropical rain forest flower-and-bird painting onto a new historical stage.
