Survey And Research On Minjiang River Boatmen’s Chant And Boatmen In Qianwei

Minjiang River boatmen’s chant is one of the labour song which spreading in the Minjiang River drainage.It is a sung labour chant with the rhythm of labour when Boatmen towing the boat.The labour chant spreading within Leshan region,Minjiang River boatmen’s chant has a long history which reflects the dangerous life of boatmen who fighting the beach and the waves,also reflects courage to face difficulties.The history becomes an important window of Minjiang River shipping culture.Now Minjiang River boatmen’s chant has been added to the list of intangible cultural heritage in Sichuan province.The work for protection and its heritage are reportedly ongoing.However,due to the reasons of changing times,transformation of shipping mode and other factors.Minjiang River boatmen’s chant had lost the soil on which it relies to survive.so It is particularly important to study Minjiang River boatmen’s chant.on this basis author take Qianwei County in Sichuan Province as fieldwork investigation points,from the perspective of anthropology and sociology,tring to make thorough research and exploration on the way of Minjiang River boatmen’s chant and boatmen in Qianwei.This study mainly includes six parts.The first part is introduction which mainly includes reasons presented article and research significance,current researches at home and abroad,and methods.The second part explains the living environment of Minjiang River boatmen’s chant.The author analyzes the natural geographical environment,human and social environment in Qianwei County.on this basis,reflecting the regional customs of Minjiang River boatmen’s chant.The third part showing the life of Minjiang River boatmen,presenting the belief and shipping sayings of Minjiang River shipping,recording the folk culture of Minjiang River boatmen group,the shipping tradition of Minjiang River basin.The fourth part studies the text of Minjiang River boatmen’s chant,analyzes the type and theme of Minjiang River boatmen’s chant,further studies it.The fifth part analysis Minjiang River boatmen’s chant under the social changes,presents the shipping history of Minjiang River and the changes of the venue of Minjiang River boatmen’s chant performance,the status quo of Minjiang River boatmen’s chant with the development of the times.The sixth part is a conclusion of the article.On the basis of this study,combinedwith the author’s field investigation experience,this paper also offers some proposals for Minjiang River boatmen’s chant status.
