Documentary Narration Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Research

As one of effective ways to spread "intangible cultural heritage",documentaries on intangible cultural heritage are especially favored by documentary directors in recent years.Its own cultural attributes has played a crucial role in spreading "intangible cultural heritage" in the new era.Different types of documentaries have different techniques of narration in terms of the narrative methods of documentaries about intangible cultural heritage.Most of them show the profound historical accumulation and distinctive humanistic connotation of Chinese civilization for five thousand years through the shooting topic,grand historical pattern and exquisite and unique lens language,which deeply attracts a large number of audiences at home and abroad.This paper studies the narrative techniques and forms of documentaries about intangible cultural heritage in China in recent years by using relevant theories of narratology and film narratology.The first chapter mainly summarizes the types of creating and development process of intangible cultural heritage documentaries.The second chapter analyzes the narrative techniques of the specific intangible cultural heritage documentaries,mainly from four aspects: theme,story content,scene representation and commentary.The third chapter analyzes the narrative form of intangible cultural heritage documentaries from four aspects: narrative time and space,narrative perspective,narrative rhythm and narrative structure.The fourth chapter is the narrative analysis of the author’s graduation work "the guardian of Qinqiang opera",mainly from the four aspects of value of selecting topic,narrative content,narrative means and narrative style.Through narrative research on intangible cultural heritage documentary,the fifth chapter sums up the value of intangible cultural heritage documentary in expanding the living space and protecting the intangible cultural heritages.At the sametime,this paper not only provides a glimpse of the future development of intangible cultural heritage documentary,but also a new idea of narrative method and ways of expressing.
