China and Korea are both countries with oriental cultural characteristics.Oriental cultural characteristics have an important impact on the creation of musical works.The life background of composers and their various techniques and philosophical ideas of music creation can be presented in their works.The works created by Western orchestras by Oriental composers add different colors to world music.At present,the world music circles are paying attention to the possibility and development of East-West integration.Based on this point of view,the author takes two composers from China and Korea as examples to compare and analyze their similarities and differences.In the selection of works,the classification of East-West fusion works is set first,and then the research direction is determined through the analysis of Xu Jian Qiang’s work "The Deity of the Snakes" and June-Hee Lim’s work "The Han River’,which are located on the same category basis.Both works are made up of pure western orchestras,without the addition of any traditional Oriental instruments.The two composers lived in Eastern countries with similar ages and cultural backgrounds.Therefore,through the comparison and analysis of their works,there will be certain academic value and artistic interest.At the same time,it also brings great curiosity and Enlightenment to the author.The analysis of<Deity of the Snakes>and<Han River>can be divided into the following six aspects:a.Background of the work-the background examination of the work was the priority requirement.Because only by correctly understanding the creative background of the works and making detailed analysis of the works,can we recognize the composer’s creative ideas and techniques.b.Composition of the work-This is to further understand the composer’s timbre conception and their different creative personalities.c.Analysis of the structure of the work-Based on the deconstruction of the structure,this paper combs out the elements of Oriental culture and the logic of thinking.d.Analysis of the melody of the work-By analyzing the pitch of the melody,we can clarify the characteristics of oriental music horizontal lines.e.Analysis the rhythm of the work-This paper tries to find out the same elements contained in the rhythm of Chinese and Korean works.f.Analysis of the orchestration of the work-This paper attempts to compare and display the sound colors and different aesthetic orientations of the orchestra of the two composers.This article hopes to promote the exchange of music culture between China and Korea,and add luster to the world music world.At the same time,we hope that more Oriental composers can use excellent Oriental cultural elements to create world-class music works.
