A Brief Analysis Of The Creation And Conducting Skills Of The First Movement Of Mahler’s "Fifth Symphony"

The conductor is the main organizer and leader of the orchestra.In order to study conduct,we should study music works first,understand its ideological content and artistic characteristics,deliberate on every detail,and study how to deal with it and express it.Music is an auditory art.The audience is mainly infected by the appreciation of the music itself.All the conductors’ action should start from the music score,and to play a role of prompting and inspiring to the performers,at the same time inspiring the audience.This paper is divided into three chapters.On the premise of analyzing the musical structure and instrumental characteristics of the first movement of 《Mahler’s Fifth Symphony》,and combining with Mahler’s life,the corresponding commanding skills are analyzed through the use of the speed,intensity,syntax,performance and the change of music mood.
