Research Of Hong Yiran Freehand Flower And Bird Painting

Hong Yiran is a famous aesthete,theorist and art educator.He made great achievements in the study of aesthetic theory and created a large number of freehand flowers and birds paintings.At present researches on Hong Yiran mainly focus on aesthetics,but few on his painting creation.On the basis of sorting out his artistic life,firstly this paper analyzes the source of some achievements in freehand flower-and-bird painting by combing his artistic thoughts,painting achievements and theoretical research in the early,middle and late stages.Secondly,it analyzes the Hong Yiran’s freehand flowers and birds painting,which are attached to the traditional context,thus forming "living brush" and "living ink" "painting with books" and "solitary,clean and simple" artistic styles.Third,through the analysis of Hong Yiran freehand flowers and birds painting works to discover its basic artistic ideas.The details include:1.Sketching is the cornerstone of the development of Chinese painting.2.It emphasizes the representation of image in artistic creation.3.If a painter’s character is not high,his paintings will be out of order.Fourth,the thesis briefly summarizes Hong Yiran’s unique interpretation of the traditional aesthetic proposition of Chinese painting.The research of this paper is a great supplement to Hong’s artistic creation and provides important evidence for his aesthetic theory research.
