The research object of this paper is "diet" verbs, mainly Chinese "yin"?"he "?"shi"?"chi"?"can"?"chang" and English,Japanese,Russian and Korean"diet" verbs, and construct their conceptual space and draw the semantic maps of "diet"verbs in ancient Chinese, modern Chinese, modern Chinese dialects and other languages. This paper is mainly divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction. The introduction mainly introduces the purpose and significance of this study, collates and comments on the current research situation of "diet" verbs and semantic maps, and finally introduces the research methods and corpus sources. The second part is the semantic function of Chinese verbs of "drinking".The semantic functions of Chinese verbs of "drink" are sorted out and explained from the two words of "yin" and "he" Among them, the semantic function of "yin" in ancient Chinese is more numerous than that of "yin" in modern Chinese and the semantic function of "he ".Because the existence of " he " is the possibility of borrowing words from Mongolian, and its meaning of "diet" comes into being later, its meaning of "diet"is not closely related to its original meaning and other extended meanings,so the extension map of the meaning of the verb "he" is drawn in the chronological order in which the meaning of the word comes into being. The third part is the semantic function of Chinese verbs of "eating".The semantic functions of Chinese verbs of "eating" are sorted out and analyzed from the four words of "shi"?"chi"?"can"?"cab"?"chang"..Because of the late age of "chi",we are sorting out its semantic function, which is not only limited to the semantic function of "chi" in ancient Chinese, but also to the modern Chinese of“chi”and a few modern Chinese. The extended meaning maps of "yin"?"he"?"shi"?"chi"?"can"?"chang" in the "diet" verb are drawn. The conceptual space and the semantic map of the fourth part are based on these maps. The fourth part is to construct the conceptual space of "diet" verbs and draw semantic maps of "diet" verbs in common, square, ancient and other languages, inorder to clarify the evolution law of "diet, verbs and the relationship and difference of "diet" verbs between different languages. The last part is the conclusion, which summarizes the full text and points out the shortcomings of this study.
