Analysis On Difference Between Piccolo And Flute Playing Skills

Piccolo is the highest woodwind instrument in the range and a variant of the flute family.It is also one of the highest musical instruments in the symphony orchestra.Contains three octaves.Because the tone is sharp,it is penetrating.However,due to the special size of Piccolo,although it is similar to the flute in fingering and playing form,it is difficult to control in terms of pitch,tone,breath,finger and blowing state during the actual performance.The flute is very different.The special nature of Piccolo in pitch and tone makes it not as widely used as a solo instrument as flute,and is often used as a color instrument for symphony orchestras,symphony orchestras and military bands.The author hopes to summarize the key points of several piccolo and flute in the playing skills in the practice experience of the orchestra for several years and his daily practice,and share the experience of the students and peers who study and play Piccolo in the flute profession.
