The Comparison Of Flute Developments In The Taiwan Region And Mainland China For Past Ten Years

In this article, the author uses the process of learning flute as the starting point. Author started to learn flute in Taiwan music class, study bachelor degree and master degree in Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Difference of time and cultures makes author experience the difference of learning between Chinese Taiwan and Mainland China. This article discuss the origin of the flute development, starting with the origin flute development in Chinese Taiwan and Mainland China. To explore the histories of flute through the ancient flute masters on both sides of the country and also refer to the famous modern flute music works of both sides. At last, author summarizes the development of flute in Chinese Taiwan and Mainland China in these 10 years through her experience of flute education on both sides and also the historical development of flute.
