A Study On The Innovative Design Of Modeling Elements Concerning Ansai Folk Painting

With the continuous inheritance and development,the expression forms of Chinese folk paintings become increasingly rich and diverse.Deeply rooted in the Loess Plateau,the Ansai Folk Painting(in Shaanxi Province)integrates paper-cutting,embroidery,fabric art and other various forms of folk arts and becomes a dazzling flower among numerous folk paintings for its unique style of expression.It is an artistic form combined with traditional thinking methods,modeling elements,expression of colored painting,patterns,skills and modern painting art forms.Its simple painting style,exaggerated modeling elements and bright use of colors not only create an extremely powerful vision expression form but also reveal the unique artistic charm featured by an coexistence of contradiction and harmony for the Ansai Folk Painting,which thereby provide an important thinking perspective for modern art design.By extracting the modeling elements of the Ansai Folk Painting and combining the traditional folk culture with the modern design awareness to carry out an innovative research,Ansai Folk Painting can not only design decorative patterns serving the contemporary aesthetic consciousness,but also protect and develop the excellent national traditional culture.Firstly,by starting from the exaggerated and changeable artistic characteristics of the modeling elements of the Ansai Folk Painting,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the creative techniques,aesthetic tastes and cultural connotations of its design patterns.Secondly,guided by the design principle of formal beauty and combined with the inspiration brought by the cubist decomposition and reconstruction as well as collage style for innovative design,this thesis classifies and refines the modeling elements of the Ansai Folk Painting from four aspects,namely the theme,pattern,composition and color,and it also studies and redesigns them in combination with modern graphic design forms.This thesis mainly focuses on the innovative forms of expression concerning the modeling elements of the Ansai Folk Painting,extracts andsummarizes the original modeling elements of the Ansai Folk Painting,combines with the current aesthetic trends and technological conditions,conducts creative pattern designs with the modern design thinking,which makes the traditional folk painting modeling elements produce a fashionable visual representation and unique sense of aesthetic designs.
