In recent years, the study of translator's style has gradually attracted the attention of many scholars. In particular, corpora technology is becoming more and more mature, and many experts and scholars use this new research method to make more objective and persuasive translator's style research.Beloved is a novel by Toni Morrison,a black American woman writer. At present,Beloved has two translations, one is the Jiao Nv(??)translated by Mr.Wang Youxuan in 1990,and the other is the Chong Er(??)translated by Mr.Pan Yue and Mr.Lei Ge in 1996.In this thesis, based on the self-built parallel corpus, the author uses AntConc and WordSmith6.0 to search and analyze the data, and selects the noun clauses guided by“what”in the original text. After comparing the translation strategies of the two translations, the author further explores the translator's style differences. The results show that the STTR of the Wang's translation is larger than that of the Pan and Lei's,indicating that the vocabulary of the Wang's is larger and more rich. The proportion of high-frequency words in Pan and Lei's translation is larger than that of the Wang's,indicating that it has a low vocabulary change and high repetition rate. The proportion of low-frequency words in Wang's translation is larger than that of Pan and Lei's,indicating that some words with personal inclinations are used in Wang's translation. In terms of mean word length, both translations use a large number of monosyllabic words,two-syllable words and three-syllable words. The four-syllable words of the Wang's translation are more than Pan and Lei's translation, indicating that Mr.Wang uses Chinese four-character idioms more while Mr.Pan Yue and Mr.Lei Ge are relatively less used. Then, when analyzing the noun clauses guided by the high-frequency word“what”and comparing the translation strategies of the two Chinese versions,it is found that Mr.Wang tends to use the domestication, while Mr.Pan and Mr.Lei prefer to use the foreignization.
