A Study On The Phonological System Of Chinese Dialects In Daocheng County Of Sichuan Province

This paper uses the latest field survey recording equipment to collect corpus of Daocheng Chinese dialects.It mainly selects two types of people in Daocheng county: Tibetan speakers whose native language is Tibetan but also speaks Chinese and Han Chinese speakers who speak only Chinese.The related theories and methods of learning,Phonetics,Chinese dialectology,and Language contact,arrange and analyze the obtained material,and try to present the phonological features of the dialects of Daocheng in a more comprehensive way.The paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly explains the current situation of related research and the significance of investigation,and introduces the basic situation of geography,humanities and so on in Daocheng county.In addition,identify the time,place,object,etc of the investigation;the second part is the pronunciation system of Daocheng Chinese dialects.The descriptions and comparisons are based on tones,initials,and vowels.Based on this analysis,Arranging the phonological matching table and homophones of Daocheng;The third part through the words investigated,sort out the phonetic change rules of Daocheng Chinese dialect,including the tone change of two word groups and the characteristics of Erhua(儿化);the fourth part is to correspond the phonological system of the Daocheng Chinese dialect to the phonological system of the ancient“Guangyun(《广韵》)”dialect from the perspective of diachronic.To see the evolution and development of the dialects of Daocheng;the fifth part compares the dialects of Daocheng with the representative dialects of Chengdu dialects of the Southwestern official dialect from the synchronic of diachronic;the final conclusion and appendix.Through description and analysis,it is concluded that the phonological system of the Daocheng Chinese dialect has the following characteristics:Daocheng Chinese dialect is similar to the characteristics of Chengyu film,the Rushng(入声)merging into Yangping(阳平).There is a legacy of the evalution of the squeaky tongue,indicating that the Chinese dialect retains more or less squeaky sound when entering the Daocheng area.Local Chinese dialect have a distinct“nationality”,which is greatly influenced by Tibetan language.Especially the speakers whose native language is Tibetan are reflected in the three aspects of the phonological system.In a word,the phonological features of local Chinese dialect is closer to the Chengyu film.The origin of Daocheng Chinese dialect should be the southwestern Mandarin of Chengyu Film.
