A Study On The Art Of Hua Yan Flower And Bird Painting

In the history of Chinese painting,flower-and-bird painting could keep pace with landscape before Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty.However,in the Qianlong period,flower-and-bird painting almost wanted to cover up the landscape,and the most famous one was Yangzhou School of Painting.The "Yangzhou School of Painting" advocates a bold and innovative style,opposes mud and ancient paintings,and gradually changes.HuaYan,as one of the representative painters of Yangzhou School of Painting,is famous for his artistic ideas of "but can use my own method,which can be compared with the number of ancient people" and his creative part-time belt of freehand brushwork.In the past,scholars have paid more attention to the techniques,styles,aesthetic pursuit of HuaYan's flower-and-bird painting and the significance of drawing lessons from contemporary flower-and-bird painting.This paper attempts to start with the existing literature and HuaYan's flower-and-bird painting works,using the method of literature analysis and comparison,to make textual research,comb and classify HuaYan's communication problems,and then explore its early stage.The scope and characteristics of private flowers,the expansion of painting themes and reasons,the maturity of flower-and-bird painting in the later period,and the style characteristics are discussed.Finally,the influence of HuaYan flower-and-bird painting style on future generations is discussed.
