Research On Contemporary Value Of Cultural Confidence From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

Since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,General Secretary Xi Jinping has interpreted "cultural self-confidence" as the fourth self-confidence after "road self-confidence,theoretical self-confidence,institutional self-confidence",and has issued a series of speeches on cultural self-confidence,forming a relatively complete ideological point of view on cultural self-confidence.At present,the discussion of cultural self-confidence mainly focuses on cultural theory.This paper will study and elaborate on cultural self-confidence from the perspective of historical materialism,especially from the perspectives of social consciousness’ s active role and relative independence,people’s being the creator of history,ideology and non-ideology,and human’s all-round development theory.The expression of self-confidence,ways to strengthen cultural self-confidence and contemporary value.The introduction part of the paper introduces the background of this topic,research methods,the corresponding research summary,as well as the innovation and shortcomings.The text is divided into four parts.The first part is the process of putting forward cultural self-confidence from the perspective of historical materialism.It mainly understands the connotation of culture,civilization and cultural self-confidence from the perspective of historical materialism,and elaborates the process of putting forward cultural self-confidence according to relevant theories.The second part,the problems and harms in the process of strengthening cultural self-confidence,mainly from the perspective of historical materialism,from the perspective of cultural self-confidence and narcissism,inferiority and self-abuse,analyzed the main manifestations and harms of cultural self-confidence.The third part is the main way to strengthen cultural self-confidence from the perspective of historical materialism.It mainly inherits,develops tradition,reds and reforms open culture from the perspective of inheritance of social ideology;takes me as the basis,absorbs foreign countries and looks forward to the future from the perspective of social consciousness adapting to social existence;breaks the dominant power of Western cultural discourse from the perspective of abandoning worshipping foreign things and flattering foreign countries.The fourth part,from the perspective of historical materialism,is to strengthen the contemporary value of cultural self-confidence,mainly embodied in: cultural self-confidence as the "soft power" of the country is the more basic and deeper self-confidence of the contemporary Chinese nation;the subjectivity of the people with cultural self-confidence is the solid soil for the practice of socialist core values;cultural self-confidence as the initiative of social consciousness is the practice of the great development of Chinese culture.Needs;Cultural self-confidence,as the spiritual power of human beings,is the requirement of human development,national rejuvenation and globalization.
