A large number of excellent classical Chinese novel works appeared in Shandong in the Qing Dynasty,since it was a mature and all-round development period for the classical Chinese novels of Shandong.As an important branch of literary works,one of the important functions of classical Chinese novels is to reflect the real life.While the folk belief culture,which is formed by the long-term accumulation of folk beliefs in the course of the inheritance,is permeated in every aspect of social life.Since folk belief culture is within the scope of classical Chinese novels,it can provide rich material for the creation of classical Chinese novels.As a result,it can not only explore the ideological and cultural connotations of the classical Chinese novels from the interactive relationship between folk belief culture and classical Chinese novels through the study of the folk belief culture in the classical Chinese novels of Shandong in the Qing Dynasty,but also can see the deep social situation of that time,and understand the thoughts and cultural psychology of ordinary people.Thus,it is more typical and representative to make the study,which can also reflect the vitality and adaptability of the folk belief culture.In this paper,it mainly studies the classical Chinese novels of Shandong in the Qing Dynasty through the methods of literature study,cultural study and social history research,which also summarizes and sorts out the objects and ways of expression of folk belief culture in the Qing Dynasty.Furthermore,it also makes a deep study on the folk belief culture of fox belief,Dongyue Emperor belief,Bixia Goddess belief and Hail God belief in this paper,which have local characteristics of Shandong.As for the classification and arrangement of folk belief culture in classical Chinese novels,it is to show that the folk belief culture enters the novel in the form of reflected objects on the one hand,which increases the divinity of the works and enriches the contents of the works' expression of life.On the other hand,it is to show that the writers use the folk belief culture flexibly to enter the novel and make it become the carrier of the thought they want to express,so as to express the ideological and cultural connotation of the works.Finally,it makes a systematic discussion for the cultural connotation of folk belief culture in the classical Chinese novels of Shandong in the Qing Dynasty in this paper,which has played an important role in revealing the thought of causality and retribution,showing the psychology of the people who pursue good fortune and avoid disaster,and carrying forward the traditional virtues of loyalty,filial piety,chastity and righteousness,as well as correcting the complex and chaotic social order,so as to achieve the purpose of educating the common people and standardizing the thoughts and behaviors of common people.As for the study of the folk belief culture in the classical Chinese novels of Shandong in the Qing Dynasty,it can not only explore the origin of a large number of fantastic stories in the classical Chinese novels,but also can explore the various changes that have taken place after the writers' processing of the folk belief culture into the classical Chinese novels.Furthermore,it can explore the role of folk belief culture in expressing the ideological and cultural connotation of classical Chinese novels.At the same time,the study of the folk belief culture in the classical Chinese novels of Shandong in the Qing Dynasty can promote the discovery and dissemination of the folk belief culture of Shandong,which thus can play a positive role in promoting the Qilu culture.
