A Study On The Storytelling Narration Of Marine Documentaries

At present,the concepts of “economic and strategic ocean” and “ocean power”are deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.China is a big ocean country with a narrow coastline,vast sea area and abundant resources.The ocean is in a very important position for our country.Nowadays,more and more documentary masters turn their eyes to the ocean,pay homage to the ocean in the way of image and tell ocean stories.In recent years,the quality and quantity of marine documentaries have been continuously improved,and even the scene of transnational cooperation has appeared.After watching and learning a lot of movies and documentaries,the author boldly learns the way of story expression in movies,and then applies it to marine documentaries.At the same time,on the premise of ensuring the authenticity of documentaries,the author uses conflict and drama to create the storyline of documentaries,so as to make the humanistic spirit of films more popular,wider dissemination and marine documentaries.This kind of thick marginal documentary moves to the center of the documentary,bringing new vitality and vitality,and has more extensive reference and guiding significance.In this paper,through the study of the narrative of the marine documentary,combined with the graduation work “Dancer in the Sea”,the innovation of this paper lies in the narrative of the marine documentary,and draws lessons from the narrative method of the story in the movies and TV plays,combining theory with practice,as well as the experience of creation.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction part elaborates the background and significance of the research,the content and method of the research,the research summary,and the introduction of the marine documentary “Dancer in the Sea”.The first chapter is an overview of marine documentaries,defines the concept of marine documentaries,and combs the development process and characteristics of marine documentaries.The development of marine documentaries can be divided into three parts: the emergence of Chinese marine documentaries,the emergence of marine consciousness and the stage of rapid development.The second chapter describes in detail how to narrate the marine documentaries in a storytelling way.It elaborates systematically from three aspects: narrative elements,narrative techniques and editing methods.Chapter three takes the work “Dancer in the Sea”as an example to analyze in detail how to narrate the marine documentaries in a storytelling way,from the perspective of story structure,camera language,character dictation and overcoming the difficulties of shooting at sea.ChapterIV starts with the development trend of China's marine documentaries in the new era,mainly from three aspects: the continuous emphasis on the humanistic spirit of China's marine documentaries,the alignment of elite culture with popular culture,and the continuous promotion of transnational cooperation.The final conclusion part is the summary and reflection of the research on the narrative style of marine documentaries.This paper combines a large number of examples to discuss the storytelling of marine documentaries,hoping to reveal the application of the storytelling structure,humanistic feelings and narrative strategies of marine documentaries,and provide some new directions for the development of marine documentaries.
