| As a real-time medium,the mobile phone has rapidly gained popularity and has become the most frequently used and most influential portable medium.It has had a very large impact on traditional media,necessitating changes in them.Mobile media are gradually entering our daily life,affecting our ways of thinking and lifestyles.Mobile media fonts are different from those in traditional media because new ways of reading have taken place.Chinese characters evolved from hieroglyphics,and their value for mobile media is constantly being explored.In this dissertation,we analyze current developments in font design in China and abroad.Additionally,we analyze the basic elements of graphic design for mobile media,describe the characteristics of mobile media,and make some suggestions according to current developments.The study of the graphic design of fonts for mobile media is multidisciplinary,so we based our work on the theories of information architecture,interaction design,visual design,and graphic design.We also present the visual culture of mobile media and new design concepts and delineate the graphical design of fonts concerning their dynamic,sensual,intertextual,and interactive characteristics.Using UI and HTML5 examples,we analyze the importance of interface and interaction design and visualize the problem from the perspective of the user’s experience.This dissertation studies the existing state of mobile-font graphic design and explores new developments in font design according to new demands by users for different font designs.With the use of mobile phones,the advantages and characteristics of font design has come to the fore in the transmission of information.The design of fonts has expanded from simple graphic design to more complex designs.As a visual medium,graphic design fonts have extended to diverse and multisensory interaction modes,expanded the design range of fonts in mobile media,changed the traditional design mode,and developed in multidomain and multiangle directions. |
