Lexical Sematic Evolution Of Polysemous Words In Erya

Erya is an important dictionary in ancient China.The meaning of "er ya" is near to elegance.As time goes by,there will be differences between ancient and modern languages.In the vast geographical area,there are differences in language due to spatial differences.Erya is a language barrier to eliminate the differences of time and space,and to bring about the unification of ancient and modern different meanings and different dialects.Polysemous words are very common in ancient Chinese language,reflecting an economic principle.In his interpretation,Erya also embodied the fact of polysemy and took the form of polysemous entries separately.Nevertheless,people pay much attention to synonyms in Erya and seldom study polysemous words.Language stores people’s experience of the world,and the extension and extension of meaning reflects the way of thinking that people understand the world.The interpretation of the Erya involves many Pre-Qin classics,and it is very necessary to analyze the cognitive mechanism of the polysemous words of the Erya and to understand the way of thinking of the ancestors.At the same time,this paper takes the relevant theories of cognitive linguistics as a theoretical tool.The traditional polysemy research focuses on the internal mechanism of the language system.It thinks that the meaning of polysemous words is isolated,but neglects the relationship between the internal system and the outside world,and ignores the cognitive process of the language.Therefore,using cognitive linguistics to study polysemous words is more conducive to exploring the cognitive mechanism of word meaning extension and evolution.Based on the theory of category theory of cognitive linguistics,this paper studies 120 polysemous words in Erya.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter,the introduction.This part introduces the origin,research method,purpose and significance of the thesis,and summarizes the research on the meaning of the word meaning of Erya and the research of polysemy in cognitive linguistics.The second chapter is the semantic network of the polysemy of the Erya.This paper expounds the value of Erya,introduces the forms of polysemous words in Erya and the selection and identification of research objects,and collate the semantic network of polysemous words.The third chapter,the way and mechanism of the meaning evolution of polysemous words in Erya.This part classifies and summarizes the meaning evolution of the polysemous words in Erya,and applies metaphor and transshipment theory to analyze.The fourth chapter is the evolution of the meaning of polysemous words in Erya.Based on the prototype theory,this part generalizes and analyzes the meaning patterns of polysemous words in Erya.The fifth chapter is about the evolution of the meaning of polysemous words in Erya.This part analyzes the polysemous words in different semantic categories from the diachronic perspective,and explores the direction and cognitive characteristics of word meaning evolution.The sixth chapter,summary.Summarize the full text and suggest weaknesses.
