A Study On The Psychology Of The Creation Of Yu Pingbo’s Old-style Poetry

As an influential person in Chinese modern and contemporary literary world,Yu Pingbo began to express his talents in the literary world at the beginning of the New Culture Movement,and put forward many brilliant new poetry theories,which demonstrated his pioneering courage and solid literary foundation.Besides the modern new poetry,he was active in prose creation,which left many famous essays.At the same time,he was also good at the old-style poetry,and carried out the study of classical literature including classical poems and novels.Yu Pingbo has great influence not only in the modern literature world,but also in the contemporary literary world,though he always appeared as the main characters of one of the three critical campaigns in various textbooks which were published in the early founding of the People’s Republic of China.In fact,Yu Pingbo had largely abandoned the creation of modern poetry and prose at the time,but focused on the study of classical literature.However,in his whole life,he had never given up the creation of the old-style poetry.This thesis takes Yu’s old-style poetry as the topic and time as the vein,explores Yu’s creative psychology of old-style poetry in young,middle-aged and later years.Yu Pingbo’s implicit and unspoken psychology as a poet has also been studied with the help of his old-style poetry.This thesis is composed of the introduction,the three chapter and the conclusion.This thesis takes Yu’s old-style poetry as the topic and time as the vein,explores Yu’s creative psychology of old-style poetry in young,middle-aged and later years.Yu Pingbo’s implicit and unspoken psychology as a poet has also been studied with the help of his old-style poetry.This thesis is composed of the introduction,the three chapter and the conclusion.The first chapter researches Yu Pingbo’s psychology on the creation of old-style poetry form his early age to middle age.Yu Pingbo’s youth psychology was spied from his early scenery tour poetry "Youth do not know real depression" and the sadness of love poems.Yu’s considerate feeling to the country and peole has been demonstrated mainly on the basis of his old-style poetry created during the Chinese revolutionary civil war and the war of Resistance Against Japan.This chapter mainly presents Yu Pingbo’s heart course from "youth psychology" to "middle age anxiety".The second chapter mainly studies Yu Pingbo’s old-style poetry created during the time between early founding of the People’s Republic of China and Yu’s return from the cadre school.Based on the specific interpretation of his poetry,Yu Pingbo’s mind from the happy and hopeful occasion of flourishing age to the lonely mood of critical period has been detected.The countryside of the cadre school has witnessed the peak of Yu Pingbo’s poetic creation in his late years.The end of this chapter tries to explore the psychological causes of Yu’s old-style poetry in this special period.The second chapter mainly studies Yu Pingbo’s old-style poetry created during the time between early founding of the People’s Republic of China and Yu’s return from the cadre school.Based on the specific interpretation of his poetry,Yu Pingbo’s mind from the happy and hopeful occasion of flourishing age to the lonely mood of critical period has been detected.The countryside of the cadre school has witnessed the peak of Yu Pingbo’s poetic creation in his late years.The end of this chapter tries to explore the psychological causes of Yu’s old-style poetry in this special period.The conclusion part relies on the macro perspective,which grasps the characteristics and psychology of Yu Pingbo’s old-style poetry based on the deep analysis of them in the text.
