Study On Folk Family Precept And Values Of Family Ethics Education

With a very long history,Chinese family precept is a gold mine of Chinese traditional culture which is worth deeply digging.And as like an enchanting flower among Chinese family precept,folk family is an important component of Chinese folk custom,a spiritual pillar supporting the existence and development of Chinese folk clan,and primary basis of Chinese folk family education.Everything of normal people’s life is influenced by family precept,and plentiful philosophical thoughts of family precept provide normal people with principles about how to bring up their children and how to behave.However,as an ideology,family precept does not always catch up with the times and meet the value requirements of people.Meanwhile,in new eras of society,family precept sometimes fails to play its role in passing on values of family ethics education.Therefore,in this time of inheriting valuable Chinese traditional culture and carrying out the Socialism Core Values,it is significant and inevitable to fit family precept to the needs of people in this new period,and to have it play better role in passing on its functions in family ethics during the study on values of family ethics education.This paper mainly adopts case study method and field research method.Firstly it introduces the research status of family precepts and folk family precepts,and comes up with the necessary and significance of the research on folk family precepts.And then briefly describes the features of the Yan’s family precepts.The major values of Huakengbao the Yan’s family precepts in family ethics education is also analyzed in this paper,including the evaluation on its advantages and disadvantages in family ethics education.On the basis of these,taking modern family and its features of ethics as the entry point,this paper also analyzes the challenge the Yan’s family precepts face in modern family ethics education.By discussing how to solve the problem of decay and the challenge the Yan’s family precepts face,and providing suggestions,this paper is looking forward to promoting the studies on family precepts of other clans.
