Study On The Art Of Relief Sculpture In The Corridor Of Angkor Temple

The narrative relief of the temple of angkor temple is not only a high artistic achievement,but also a symbol of ancient Cambodian culture,and constitutes an indispensable and important part in the treasure house of Oriental culture and art.Due to historical reasons,the influence of western culture in academic,in art education and art research in China and other areas of western art as the axis,the students also mostly on acquiring art knowledge is given priority to with western art history.However,there is a lack of research and understanding of the ancient culture and art of Cambodia in Asia.This and our country present in culture and art advocates the era spirit,innovation spirit and international vision is highly symmetrical,therefore this thesis corridors at the temple Angkor Wat in narrative relief as the research target,the deep understanding,analyzes its modeling characteristics and the causes of the formation of artistic style,and the culture contained in the spirit,to fill the lack of artistic theory research,hope that more scholars attention at the same time,also positive influence on Chinese contemporary sculpture art creation.Around the corridors at the temple Angkor Wat all this relief this art form,through the two field of Angkor Wat in Cambodia monuments,combined with the image and the analysis of the literature,the historical background,the characteristic of modelling,modelling causes,etc.First in this paper the historical background of Angkor Wat do the line just comb,and reflected from its modelling of cultural context and shape characteristics,social and historical factors,such as the formation of the artistic style of a certain period,as well as the cultural background of the system in this paper.It is hoped that through the analysis and study of the artistic features of the narrative relief of the temple of angkor,the artistic features and cultural characteristics of angkor period will be fully understood.It is hoped that these research results can be enlightening to contemporary artistic creation.
