Nowadays,contemporary art displays or the behavior of art shows have become a practice platform for social public life education and aesthetic education.Meanwhile,it no longer only has the function of "artwork access and supply" for the educated people,it has gradually become a complete activity behavior.Under the context of the new media,it is of great importance to investigate the relationship between the subject and the object in the art exhibition because the art display is of great significance to the interpretation and dissemination of the pluralistic cultural idea.How to guide the public to understand the multiple aesthetic and cultivate the quality of the public art is one of the most important tasks of the art exhibition as a carrier to show national and regional aesthetic spirit.In art acceptance theory,there is an opinion that artists create artworks for people to enjoy and read,so artworks are accepted by the audience to achieve its value.This viewpoint is established in this article.As same as the teacher and the doctor,the artist is also a professional term,so theoretically the statement that "everyone can become their own life artist" is abstract.This statement ignored some of the essential conditions before entailed its conclusions.Hence,it is not consistent with the objective laws of the material.In other words,If the artworks do not relate to the audience,they are still some of the objective substance and material.If they are not for the sake of appreciation,at most they are the artist's personal feelings of material,which cannot be called art works.Substance material is not dynamic,not to mention the value and influence.Only in the activities,it can produce the effect of mental andaesthetic.The audience acts as a key component in artistic activities.It is an important factor in the overall relationship between the creator and the audience.Thus,the audience should not lose the subjectivity in the art display,and involving the new media is an important chance for subjectivity.The change of time means that changes are needed.The challenge of art display is that society raises higher requirements on the author of art display,and the author needs to create new ideas.The present article tries to talk about the relation between the author and the artist,and the understanding of the contradictory relationship between the works and the audience in the art display under the context of the new media.And put forward the corresponding perspectives,so that it can promote a large harmonious application and development of new media in the art exhibition,and provide a reference for the effective development of art exhibitions.
