| Learning Chinese language has recently become a popular trend in Thailand,studying Chinese literature of Thai scholars have progressively increased.Among them,Thai language translation of Chinese novel has become more and more significant in order to promote a better understanding of Chinese culture.At present,not only Chinese literature studies scholars,but also those in other fields are keen on Thai language translation edition of the modern Chinese novels.It’s necessary to ensure that such translation has completely expressed the original mealing of Chinese,as well as used the correct sentences in Thai because there would still be faced with difficult translation problems especially,Thai translation of Chinese simile at this time.Therefore,which is quite essential in these cases.This study will focus on the analysis and comparison of Chinese-Thai simile in modern Chinese novels.Furthermore,this study will discuss in various kinds of conditions,for examples the types of structure,the comparative study of the vehicle and its figurative sense of simile,the reasons of different simile and etc.On the basis of comparative studies,this paper will raise some suggestions on translation strategy of Chinese-Thai simile at the end.In short,the results of this research will be the fundamental information for scholars studying Chinese-Thai culture teaching or others relevant research.In addition,this paper will be considered as a reference for those will show more clearly the role of Chinese-Thai simile and help further improve the quality of translation and the quality of teaching. |
