Research On Tibetan Family Name

This paper takes Marxist historical materialism as the guiding ideology,combines folklore,sociology and other related disciplines,based on absorbing the research results of predecessors,it sorts out the historical origins and cultural characteristics of Tibetan family name culture,and did the case study research by using the field research method.This paper consists of five parts: The first,second and third chapters are the core part of this paper.They mainly sort out and analyze the historical origin,social and cultural functions of Tibetan family name culture.Secondly,taking the Fen jia Village in Aba Prefecture,Sichuan Province as an example,a field study was conducted.Through the combination of field research and literature research,it is found a conclusion of cultural characteristics that the phenomenon of “family name” is changeable and it may changes with the changes of the times.
