“One hundred Birds Singing to the Phoenix” is the best-known and widespread Suona tune.Based on many times of adaptions,the most popular version is formed which is remarkable well-structured,artistic,enjoyable and expressive with the characteristics of a shorter length of time,more beautiful melodies and more logical verses.As the accordion has been popular in China since the 1960 s,there are many accordion music adapted from Chinese national music,and the accordion version of “One hundred Birds Singing to the Phoenix” is one of them.The paper regards the accordion version and the Suona version of “One hundred Birds Singing to the Phoenix” as the research objects,and studies from the following three aspects:First,understand two versions ' composers and the process of the creation and adaption by studying and researching the composers ' life experience and works;Second,research the similarities and differences between two versions in paragraph distribution,mode and tonality by the music analysis,and in notation aspect by analyzing some paragraphs' notation;Third,based on the own performance practice of the accordion version,the author analyzes and discusses the important and difficult points in performance so as to provide some practical reference for the future generations.
