Yan Geling's works can be described as successful examples that take both market and literature into account.Through text analysis,we find that Yan Geling usually deliberately uses some classical themes in her creation. In order to express a kind of subjective consciousness of rebellion, appreciation or transcendence, she use some common themes, allusions and mutual interpretations in that realize the criticism of the original texts and add new meanings. The theory of intertextuality can explain the repeated paradigms of these models. After touching the multiple influences of Chinese and western literatures,Yan Geling presents poetic characteristics in her themes.Yan Geling made use of the activities of ordinary people and even the bottom group to express the noble significances of mythological themes and set up macro-level understandings of human cultures' fates. At the same time, some long-spread folk legends have the love struggle core which used by Yan Geling,so as to reflect the contradiction for the mainstream, the social authority and the political discourse, and to highlight the author's independent thinking of the subject consciousness. In addition, classic novels and drama texts provide references for Yan Geling's plot patterns, which are similar to the myth and legend archetypes' stable structures. These classic patterns are not only perfect enough in long-term development, they also reveal the cultural aesthetic tendencies of the masses. When Yan Geling retained thinking the meanings of these classical models, she embedded the writing of the present situations in a kind of play-like posture. She not only replacing the classical implications and artistic atmospheres of the original text, but also carrying on the reflection among gender and politics,East and West culture and the gender gap.Because Yan Geling's novels are mostly based on her own experiences or written materials,it is inevitable to write the narrative of life experience. In the author's growth and youth narrative,Yan Geling reflects her promotion and transcendence to the narrative of the original texts through the repeated characters and plots. Not only the characters aremorethree-dimensional and perfect in the many times of rewriting, but the discussions on human natures become deeper. Finally,Yan Geling set up a "literary troupe" and "writer compound" which form a series of works.Yan Geling's novel creation embodies the unique artistic function of "intertextuality",which explains the intention of the "repeat" or "model".It can not only promote the poetic character of her works in the form of myths and legends, but also use the influences of classical texts to increase the attention and best-selling of novels. For Yan Geling,a large number of intertextuality techniques in her creation are based on the active subjective consciousness and the sure use of techniques. It can be seen that the inevitable repeatability and pattern emphasized by the "intertextuality" theory is of certain value.Of course, due to the repeated humanitarian songs, the ambiguous appeal to citizen culture and so on,Yan Geling's creation is also facing a difficult problem of self-transcendence.
