A Critical Perspective Of Contemporary Chinese Meticulous Portrait Painting

As a common theme in Chinese painting,meticulous portrait painting has evolved from childishness to maturity,and has evolved into a self-contained system through thousands of years of development and evolution.Meticulous portrait plays a very important role in the history of Chinese painting.It not only reflects the way Chinese people observe life and express their full feelings,but also is full of implication and symbolism.The development of meticulous portrait reached its peak in Tang and Song Dynasties,and declined in Ming and Qing Dynasties.After the new century,under the integration of Chinese and Western ideas,meticulous portrait has made great achievements.Nearly a decade or two years of efforts,meticulous portrait has entered a period of comprehensive revival.Under the new situation,meticulous portrait has shown splendid in various forms of art exhibitions.However,under the prosperous situation of meticulous portrait,many negative factors that affect its rapid development are gradually exposed,hindering its new development under the new situation.In view of this phenomenon,Lang Shaojun put forward the "ten problems".This article takes this as the point of view,through reflecting on the problems existing in the current situation of Chinese Contemporary Meticulous portrait painting,makes an analysis and comparison of the portraits of excellent meticulous painters in various forms,and tries to reflect on the principles andqualities that should be adhered to in artistic creation through paintings.By means of literature research,observation,induction and analysis,we can find,think and solve problems from the practice of artistic creation.Finally,it summarizes the achievements of contemporary Chinese meticulous portrait painting in the art of painting,and then examines contemporary meticulous portrait painting from a critical perspective,pointing out the problems in its creation.It reminds us that we should not only see the achievements but also see the shortcomings,and help the public go deep into the artistic world of contemporary Chinese meticulous portrait painting,so as to give the public a colorful artistic appearance and rich and meaningful artistic interest,enhance personal aesthetic consciousness and make a theoretical exposition of the research results combined with personal viewpoints.
