The accordion was introduced to China in the early twentieth century.Music lovers loved it with its musical and piercing tone and extremely emotional expression.The accordion has even developed into a unique phenomenon of military music culture in China,which grew the learning and playing of it.The accordion works of China have been from zero to uncountable,from adaptation to originality,from solo to symphony.The accordion art has endowed with social connotation and era characteristics under the efforts of generations of musicians.However,the accordion considering as a relatively “young” instrument in China.It has produced more popular songs during this particular period,but only a few works reached a professional level.Zhang Xinhua is one of the few accordion musicians in China,who has received accordion education in a vocational music college.He is a musician who works as a teacher and as a musician with a wide range of artists.He has written many excellent works and contributed to the development of the accordion in China.He is a musician with an innovative spirit and patriotism.His professional composition techniques incorporate a unique personal style,which is full of hopes for a better life.Besides,his praise for the spiritual outlook of ethnic minorities makes his works unique and charismatic.This article will base on Zhang Xinhua ' s three works,carefully analyze the creative background,music ontology and performance skills of the three jobs,to expound and summarize the artistic features and innovative thinking in Zhang Xinhua's works,It is to promote theory research of accordion and work creation level.
