The Background And Roles Of The Establishment Of Jingang Baicheng By Ligden Khan

Ligden Khan was the last khan of the northern Yuan Dynasty.In historical materials,there are few records about the establishment of the Jingang Baicheng,and opinions vary on the location of the Jingang Baicheng.However,in recent years,many academic researchers have gradually come to the same opinion.They believes that the old ruins of Abaghara mountain in Hansumu of Arukeerqin banner of Chifeng city in Inner Mongolia are the Jingang Baicheng,which has been built by Ligden khan.Therefore,based on the research results,this paper tries to discuss the background and roles of the establishment of Jingang Baicheng by Ligden Khan.This paper consists of five parts that are introduction,main content,conclusion,reference and appendix.In the first part of the introduction,I mainly write the reason and significance of the topic and the research overview,research methods and innovation.The second part is the main content of this paper,which consists of three parts.First,mainly introduce cultural summary of Jingang Baicheng by Ligden Khan,including the various records of historical materials and ancient legends,the exact location of Jingang Baicheng built by Ligden Khan is determined according to the old ruins in front of Abaghara mountain in Hansumu of Arukeerqin banner of Chifeng city in Inner Mongolia pointed out by professor Jin Feng.Second,the background of the establishment of Jingang Baicheng by Ligden khan.Third,this paper tries to discuss the role of Jingang Baicheng built by Ligden Khan from the aspects of politics,economy,culture and important geographical location during his reign.
