The Study Of The "Sino-Japanese Joint Theory" From The Perspective Of East Asia

Since modern times,due to the military aggression of Western powers,it has not only opened the door to the closure of East Asian countries,but has also impacted the traditional pattern of international relations in East Asia.In the face of the crisis,East Asian countries have taken the road to salvation.Among them,Chinese and Japanese people of insight,relying on the cultural origins of the two countries,put forward the "joint theory" of "China and Japan jointly resisting foreign aggression." The "SinoJapanese Joint Theory" appeared roughly after the signing of the "Sino-Japanese Repair Regulations" in the 1870 s.The regulations were the first treaty signed between China and Japan on an equal footing,thus setting the tone for the alliance between the two countries.The Japanese thought of Lianhua is embodied in the "Asian Association Theory" in the early Asian Asian thought and advocates that Asian countries should unite with each other to resist the aggression of the great powers.At the same time,the Qing government is also adjusting its foreign policy with the changes in the international environment.The various forces of the ruling and opposition parties such as Li Hongzhang,the local governor Zhang Zhidong,and Kang Youwei,a reformist,have all proposed for various reasons.The proposal of Japan.Therefore,taking the period of time from the 1970 s to the 1990 s as a time limit,this paper discusses the formation and development of the "sino-japanese joint theory" between China and Japan.Through combing the United China and joint Japan claims put forward by the insightful people of China and Japan under different background conditions,the author analyzes the motives and purposes of their respective "sino-japanese joint theory".Although the "China-Japan Joint Theory" has played a positive role in combining the two countries with foreign powers against the background of the aggression of the great powers,its results have had little effect,and the reasons for its final failure are worth pondering.It is hoped that the research of this paper will be beneficial to the study of the history of China-Japan relations in China.
