Chinese language classes are faced with different teaching objects.Especially for those who are complete beginners of Chinese,the classroom undoubtedly plays a crucial part in communicating Chinese knowledge and constructing Chinese learning system.Therefore,for teachers how to better construct the significant place becomes a particularly important matter.This paper focuses on exploring the classroom teaching design and implementation of elementary oral Chinese at a vocational and technical college in Thailand to better guide students in constructing Chinese knowledge system in classroom teaching.The introduction mainly elaborates on the research purpose and significance,and analyzes a series of theories and principles regarding course types and classroom teaching of elementary oral Chinese.The first chapter describes a survey of the current situation of Chinese language teaching at vocational and technical colleges in Thailand.After analyzing the current situation of Chinese language teaching and the characteristics of students at Udon Thani Vocational &Technical College,the paper further investigates the study situation of students from that school and the teaching situation of volunteer teachers at vocational and technical colleges in Thailand.Then a simplified summary is made regarding the problems popped up during the investigation.Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 are mainly based on the findings of Chapter 1 and the problems reflected in the survey results.Based on the three main classroom steps:introduction,interpretation and practice.from the classroom,the paper explores the classroom design and implementation of Chinese classes at vocational and technical collegesin Thailand.Chapter 4 summarizes the application of auxiliary teaching method in Thai vocational and technical colleges.This paper aims to analyze Chinese language learners' learning attitudes and motivation,to investigate the classroom design and implementation of other volunteer teachers in the Thai vocational and technical colleges,to summarize the problems that are likely to occur in various classroom steps and to explore the teaching step design and implementation and teaching methods with the ultimate goal to finding the most suitable classroom teaching design for elementary Chinese for Thai vocational and technical college students.
