Agriculture Research Of Inner Mongolia During The Yuan Dynasty

During the Yuan Dynasty,most of Inner Mongolia,as the belly area under the jurisdiction of Zhongshu Province,had a more important position than the other dynasties.A special study of agriculture is helpful to deepen the understanding of the economic situation in Inner Mongolia during the Yuan Dynasty.On the basis of systematically combing the predecessors’ research and aiming at the insufficiency of the research,this paper probes into the conditions of agricultural production,agricultural development and agricultural disasters,in order to show the agriculture of Inner Mongolia in the Yuan Dynasty more comprehensively.The full text is mainly divided into three parts.First of all,combining with historical records,analyze the natural conditions of agricultural production in the Yuan Dynasty.This paper studies the basis of agricultural production and the immigration of Han population.What’s more,from the perspective of crop cultivation,reclamation,agricultural production technology,water conservancy facilities,this paper focuses on the performance of agriculturaldevelopment in Inner Mongolia during the Yuan Dynasty.On the basis of exploring the problem of wheat planting,the relationship between the planting area of big wheat and that of big wheat was analyzed.Through the study of the Chinese documents in Heishuicheng,the rice planting situation was judged.Finally,this paper investigates and analyses the agricultural disasters such as meteorology,biology,geology and famine in Inner Mongolia during the Yuan Dynasty,and then studies the negative impact of agricultural disasters.
