The Research Of Disyllabic Word In Pingyang Zaju Of Yuan Dynasty

The study of disyllabic words has always been a hot topic and the research results are outstanding.But looking at these achievements,there are also some problems.There are many studies on disyllabic words in ancient and medieval works.However,there is a lack of systematic analysis and understanding of the composition and use of disyllabic word in modern Chinese,especially in Yuan Dynasty.Therefore,the author plans to take the Zaju works in Pingyang area of Yuan Dynasty as the research object.This paper tries to analyze and elaborate on the composition of all the disyllabic words in the works of this local dramatists,and try to make a systematic analysis and Research on the composition and characteristics of Chinese disyllabic words in Yuan Dynasty.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.Firstly,the disyllabic words in the works of the writers in Pingyang area in Yuan Dynasty are searched and defined,overall description of these disyllabic words.Secondly,it classifies all disyllabic words in Zaju from two aspects: phonetic word-formation and grammatical word-formation,and counts the total number of various disyllabic words at the same time,calculate the proportion of all kinds of disyllabic words in the whole vocabulary,and describes the specific word-formation of each disyllabic word.Then,on the basis of the previous research,it explores the origin of the disyllabic words in these Zaju and their diachronic development and evolution in modern Chinese.Finally,according to the previous research results,these disyllabic words and the entries in the "Chinese Dictionary" are compared and studied to supplement the "Chinese Dictionary" as a documentary evidence.In the concluding part,the author puts the composing conditions and characteristics of the disyllabic words in the complex operas into a longitudinal comparison,thus sums up the structural characteristics of the disyllabic words in the complex operas in Pingyang area of the Yuan Dynasty and the disyllabic situation of Chinese vocabulary in the Yuan Dynasty.
